BIOGRAPHY
Raptorz is a Dino Punk band from Milano, Italy, founded in 2023 by guitarist Giaime Traldi and vocalist Ciurlino. They immediately started looking for a bassist and a drummer, eventually recruiting Squalo from a website for musicians. The lineup was finally completed in 2024 when Emma Traldi returned from her study abroad year in the USA.
With these four members, Raptorz found the chemistry that defines the band today. They draw inspiration from 1980s British punk, blending it with the Californian punk style of Rancid, the aggressive sound of GBH, and melodic influences from Bad Religion. They deliver fast with lyrics that take aim at social decay, inequality and a world increasingly controlled by wealth and power, where personal freedom is constantly being stripped away. Every song is fueled by anger, but also by the refusal to accept injustice and by the belief that punk is still a voice for those who refuse to stay silent.
The band's name reflects the speed and intensity of their music, inspired by the agility of the velociraptor. Raptorz played their first show at Masnada Club on October 12, 2024, and have been bringing their high-energy live set to clubs and DIY venues ever since.
In May 2026, Raptorz released their debut album, Degeneracy, and continue to write, perform, and spread their message one show at a time. Fast, loud, and honest—that's what Raptorz is all about.
All By Myself is the single that preceded the release of Degeneracy, the first album by Raptorz. A song that captures the band's energy, anger, and attitude, addressing personal and social critical themes with the album's direct sound.
